LEYRE is a video mapping work using a custom typeface as its primary visual material, projecting letterforms onto architectural surfaces at monumental scale. Developed for the 10th edition of Fény Fesztivál’s Video Mapping Competition, whose theme centers on Victor Vasarely’s Polychrome City, it is an ode to the poetic public space theorized by Vasarely in that same work, where he envisioned urban environments transformed through color, form and visual language into spaces of collective aesthetic experience.
